Freed-Hardeman University offers many programs designed for direct entry into the job market or graduate and professional school. More than 40 academic programs are outlined in the university catalog. If none of these quite fits your career goals, you may choose courses from various disciplines and design your own major. We will do it your way!
Having chosen a course of study, you will be directed in your learning by qualified professors who genuinely care about you and your progress.
At FHU, classes even at the freshman level are taught by full-time personnel, a majority of whom have earned doctorates. The university is dedicated to teaching; therefore, professors, not graduate students, teach.
Your work in the classroom may be augmented by internships, field studies, and travel. In fact, many programs require hands-on experience as a part of the educational experience. You can earn credit while studying for a few weeks or an entire semester in Europe.
