Why Go to the Lady Lions Camp?
If you are between Grades 4 and 12 and are interested in becoming a better basketball player (physically and mentally) and receiving quality individual instruction from a veteran staff; THIS CAMP IS FOR YOU.
Camp Staff :
The camp is directed by Coach Dale Neal, who has guided the FHU Lady Lions to 12 consecutive national tournament appearances, including the Final Four in 1999 and 2008 and Elite Eight in 2004, 2005 and 2006, directs the Lady Lion Basketball Camp. Coach Neal is a Four-Time TranSouth Conference Coach of the Year and during his 14 seasons at FHU, the Lady Lions have won an impressive 365 games – averaging 26 wins per year. This winning tradition has resulted in the Lady Lions’ being consistently ranked among the nation’s elite in the NAIA National Polls.
Other camp instructors include Lady Lion Assistant Coach Lain Hinson, Memphis Hall-of-Fame Post Don Holcomb, as well as area high school coaches. The staff is also composed of the Lady Lion Basketball players.
What to Bring:
- A week's worth of workout clothing
- Basketball shoes, socks, t-shirt and BB shorts
- Bed linens and Pillow
- Toiletries
- Swimsuit, if you wish to swim in the evening after basketball activities are over
- Clothes to wear after basketball activities

AIR CONDITIONED FACILITIES –For your safety and comfort all facilities are air conditioned.
Gym: Camp activities will be held in the FHU Sports Center and Bader Gym. All gym facilities are air-conditioned.
Cafeteria: Buffet-Style, all-you-can-eat meals (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) will be provided and served by Aramark Food Service in FHU’s Dining Hall.
Dorm: Well supervised, air-conditioned dormitory accommodations will be provided for all boarding campers.
Check-in and Check-out:
Check in June 29, 1:30-4:30 p.m. in Sports Center
Check out July 3, 12:30 p.m. at the Sports Center
Camp Regulations:
Regulations are set up for the safety and well-being of each camper. Campers will be expected to abide by all camp rules and regulations established by the camp director.
