Henderson, Tenn. – In July of 2004, Freed-Hardeman University’s baseball coach, Patrick McCarthy, and his wife, Katie Beth, welcomed their first son into their lives. But it was no ordinary delivery. Miller JungHoon McCarthy, age 15 months, came home to his adoptive parents from his birth place of South Korea. Not quite three years later, Patrick and Katie Beth traveled to Guatemala to pick up their second son, three year old Francisco Andres “Andre” McCarthy.
