Accommodations

Lodging
CTS residents have three housing options:

  • Porter-Terry Dormitory is arranged in suites; each suite has three bedrooms that share a common living room. There is one bathroom shared by those in one suite. We can arrange for those who know each other to stay in a suite together. Many ladies stay in a suite together, and so do couples. Families with children generally stay on the same floor. The fee for Porter-Terry is $15 per bed per night.
  • Apartment-style housing has 4 individual bedrooms; residents share 2 bathrooms with common kitchen and living room areas. The apartment-style cost $20 per bed per night.

We will try to honor each request so signify the housing style you prefer.  Housing requests are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.

Dorm Parents
The CTS Dorm Parents will make you feel at home the entire week. They will assist you in the day-to-day life in the dorm. Jim and Kay Anderson, and Ray and Sherry Wilson will serve as dorm parents for 2008.

What to Bring & Wear
Bring a pillow, twin bed linens, and towels and toiletries for the week. Dress for the week will be informal.

Food
CTS participants arrange their own meals. Wallace-Gano Cafeteria is located conveniently on campus and there are places to eat in Henderson and nearby Jackson.

If you're from out of state, you should try our famous Chester County smoked pork BBQ during your stay.

Cost
Registration cost for the full week of activities is $50 per person. This includes your CTS registration packet, speakers for classes and seminars, some class materials, T-shirt or tote bag, and breakfast at President Wiley's home.

Please note there is a $25 refundable key deposit that must be paid at registration.
