Job Seekers

Candidates' Information

The Education Job Fair is a terrific opportunity to advance your career plans.  Please note that only one hour (9:30 - 10:30 a.m.) is reserved to require ALL schools to be available for information exchange.  Schools have the option to use the remaining time to continue information exchange or to conduct interviews.

FHU Students:

Through the Career Resource Center, each FHU teacher candidate should 1) provide an approved Word file of your current resume, if adding/correcting anything since resume was created for student teaching seminar and 2) select one or more interviews for job application or practice with "attending schools" that choose to conduct interviews.

FHU Alumni & Other Guests:

You are welcomed to pre-register by e-mailing a "polished" resume and then calling to schedule any desired interviews with "attending schools" that choose to conduct interviews. Interview slots are usually very limited, and schedules fill quickly. The CRC offers to assist with “polishing” your Word or rich text format resume if submitted by Friday, February 6.

We encourage everyone to pre-register with the Career Resource Center; however, you may register the day of the event. You may try to arrange interviews with recruiters at 9:30 a.m. if time slots are available.

Interview Reservations before the Event

When the Career Resource Center has your "polished" resume, you may telephone or stop by the office to pre-schedule interviews with desired schools systems who plan on-site interviews. First check  “attending schools” for positions and those interviewing at the event. Interview times fill up quickly on a 1st come basis.
