Advertising
OMUR operates through a limited advertising budget that is reviewed by the university budget committee every three years.
Through assessment goals and budget plans, OMUR creates an annual media calendar, coinciding with the university fiscal year. The media calendar details all advertising expenditures made by OMUR and ensures that an entire annual advertising plan can and will be completed. OMUR places advertising for the university in such publications as the Gospel Advocate, The Christian Chronicle, The Jackson Sun and the Chester County Independent. OMUR also places advertising in various other media outlets, including WBBJ-TV, Charter Cable and several area radio stations.
Departments or areas requesting placement pay for departmental and event-specific ads. All advertisements or promotional items are created at no cost by the graphic artists and creative director employed by OMUR. Advertisements and publications are provided to vendors by OMUR. Customers have the opportunity to proofread ads before they are published.
OMUR is the initial contact for advertising. A request form for all advertising and print jobs is available by simply clicking the OMUR project startup form. A form can also be found in OMUR, located in the House of Marketing and University Relations (HoMUR).

Marketing
The OMUR team is made of several talented people, all of whom have expertise in different fields, such as marketing, event promotion, publication design, Web design, journalism, organization, public relations, media relations, news management, creativity and community partnerships, crisis communication and more.

Media and Community Relations
At FHU, we want to communicate to our constituency the high level of academic quality always present of FHU. One of the key factors to informing our constituency includes positioning our professors and staff as experts in their related fields. This promotes the efforts of FHU and enhances our image.
One way we promote FHU’s excellent students, faculty, staff and programs is through the relationships we have developed with our local and regional media. Through press conferences, news releases, trade and other avenues, FHU maintains a good public image. To continue this process, FHU faculty and staff must keep OMUR informed of any feature stories or other items worthy of publication. Even if a story concerns a seemingly negative situation, FHU's image can be enhanced with appropriate responses.

Photography
The assistant creative director provides photography services for FHU.

Web Design
All university-based Web-page design is accomplished by OMUR. Any page dealing with general information about the Web is created in OMUR and approved by the department. All design specifications are the responsibility of OMUR, while the client must provide all content. In order to maintain consistency and continuity, all Web pages must be designed and approved by the webmaster and OMUR before being posted on the Web.

Multimedia Presentations

Both qualitative and quantitative research needs can be met in OMUR. Through focus groups, surveys and individualized interviews, OMUR can research any topic.
OMUR can also provide you with Internet research. If you are having trouble finding information on a certain topic, the staff of OMUR can research that topic and provide you with the information you need.
