Refunds:

What is a refund?

- A refund is the disbursement of a credit on your student account.

How do I know if there is a credit on my account?

- Follow this link to access your financial account on IQWeb: https://iqweb.fhu.edu/secure/logon.asp. Log in using your name (first.last) as the id and your social security number without the dashes as the password. Click on 'Account Statement' and select the current semester to view your statement. If you require assistance with your IQWeb account, contact the IT department by calling 800-348-3481. If you have questions about your financial aid, contact the Financial Aid department at 800-630-3481.

How do I request a refund?

- You may request your refund once classes begin. You can do this by email (refunds@fhu.edu), by fax (731-989-6010), by mail (Business Office, 158 East Main St., Henderson, TN 38340), by campus mail, or in person at the Business Office in Loyd Auditorium. Include your name, mailing address and birth date in the request. To print an official request form follow this link: Refund Request Form.doc.

When will I receive my refund?

- Refund checks will be mailed on Fridays, if your request is received by Tuesday and you have a credit on your account as of Wednesday. The first disbursement date is generally three weeks after classes begin.

May I pick up my check rather than receive it by mail?

- Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate this special request.

May I call to see if my check was mailed?

- It is helpful if you wait until the Saturday after you expect your check to be mailed to review your account on IQWeb (follow the instructions listed above). If you see an entry titled "Refund Check", know that it was mailed on Friday. If you do not see this entry, you  have a credit balance and your request was submitted by Tuesday, feel free to call our office (866-927-6008). Additionally, if you do not receive your check within 7 days, please, let us know.

Meal Plans:

What are my meal plan options?

  A = 21 meals/week+20 lion bucks   $1495.00                  

  C = 15 meals/week+80 lion bucks   $1495.00

  D = 10 meals/week+60 lion bucks   $1410.00

  J = 300 block meals per semester + 40 lion bucks   $1945.00

  K = 250 block meals per semester + 80 lion bucks   $1890.00

  L = 200 block meals per semester + 160 lion bucks   $1695.00

Plan S and M are restricted to Seniors (90+ completed hours) and commuters 

  S = 7 meals/week + 40 lion bucks   $870.00

  M = 100 block meals per semester + 80 lion bucks   $1430.00

 

Can I change my meal plan once the semester begins?

- Yes, you can change your meal plan prior to the drop/add date which is approximately two weeks into the semester.

Lion Bucks:

What is a Lion Buck?

- Lion Bucks are campus currency used in the dining hall and Lion's pride. Most meal plans include lion bucks. However, additional bucks can be purchased in $50 increments from the Business Office.


Can I charge Lion Bucks to my student account?

- Yes.


How do I purchase Lion Bucks?

- If you would like to charge Lion Bucks to your student account you can do so by email (refunds@fhu.edu), by phone (866-927-6008) or in person at the Business Office in Loyd Auditorium. To print a lion buck request form follow this link: Lion Buck Request Form.doc.



What other forms of payment do you accept?

- We accept most major credit/debit cards, checks and cash.
