GAMMA TAU OMEGA SOCIAL CLUB
Freed-Hardeman University
PREAMBLE
In 2005, a group of students saw the need for a new social club on campus. Numerous freshmen were rejected from their first, second, third, and even fourth picks during social club induction. Three clubs capped, and two other clubs almost capped during 2005 social club induction. Freshmen enrollment continues to increase every year, and there was a desperate need for a new social club for the fall semester of 2006. The charter members of Gamma Tau Omega saw the need for its creation not only for these reasons, but also to provide a spiritual accountability and support group and a way to provide more social activities on Freed-Hardeman’s campus and among the incoming freshmen.
