Admission Requirements
for
GRADUATE STUDIES IN BIBLE

a)   Submit an application for admission and $32 non-refundable application fee. (No action will be taken on an application for admission until the fee has been received.)

b)   Must have completed an appropriate baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 for regular admission (conditional admission is allowed for lower GPA).

c)   Must submit all official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from previously attended institutions.

d)   Applicants must have completed at least 18 hours of undergraduate Bible and/or religion courses.

e)   A score of 440 or above on both the verbal and quantitative writing on the GRE, (OR)

f)   A score of 30 or above on the MAT, (OR)

g)   A score of 80% on the FHU Comprehensive Bible Test.

h)   An essay specifying personal goals and how FHU will help contribute to those goals.

i)    TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language).  The Test of English as a Foreign language (TOEFL) is offered in three formats.  A score of 500 on the paper-based exam, or a score of 173 on the computer-based exam, or a score of 61 on the Internet-based exam is required of all students for whom English is a second language.

j)   Submit one personal evaluation from a minister or elder, and one personal evaluation from a Christian businessman (forms available online).
