Alistare Cooke called New York City “the greatest collection of villages in the world.” Each year, students, faculty and friends of FHU travel to the Big Apple to get a taste of the city and its wonders. For six days in January, the group enjoys New York theatre performances, tours of prominent entertainment facilities and workshops with theatre professionals.
The 2009 trip is scheduled for January 13-18. We'll fly out of Memphis directly to NYC, spend 5 nights in a midtown Manhattan hotel, see three shows (Mary Poppins, A Tale of Two Cities, and a play TBD), enjoy a workshop with the cast of Mary Poppins. All this for a very reasonable price.
There's much more to do too! See shows like Wicked, In the Heights, or Phantom of the Opera. Enjoy great shopping and good food. Visit the Statue of Liberty or the World Trade Center site.
You can also receive college credit for the trip. Learn more here. |
