Accounting majors planning to earn an MBA have a distinct advantage with Freed-Hardeman University's new 4 Plus BBA/MBA program in accounting. Because preparation for the CPA exam requires several courses of advanced study, our BBA in accounting degree overlaps with our MBA in accounting degree in several ways. By taking only three extra credit hours on top of the 150 credit hours required to sit for the CPA exam, students can graduate from Freed-Hardeman University with both a BBA in accounting and MBA in accounting in 4 1/2 years.
